Welcome to my art journey, where curiosity and play intertwine to guide my creative expression.

I am a queer Chicana artist raised in Brighton and Ft. Lupton, Colorado, creating at the intersection of cultural reconnection, inner child curiosity, and creative healing. Guided by the teachings of my ancestors—with the grace and especially the wisdom of my grandmother—I explore art as a path back to myself: playful, accepting, and full of wonder.

With curiosity leading the way and through mixed media and craft traditions, I honor the beauty of experimentation. My practice is about slowing down, embracing presence, and releasing perfectionism and societal norms that once shaped how I moved through the world. My work reflects a rich tapestry of identity, deeply rooted in my heritage, cultures, and ancestral influences. By transforming everyday moments into meaningful rituals, I confront and internalized oppression, allowing my true artistic self to emerge. Join me as we explore the power of art to inspire curiosity, resilience, and collective liberation through healing and intentionality. And of course my love and appreciation of cats.

Curioso Cats Arts & Crafts LLC is both a return and a reimagining—where each creation becomes a moment of reflection, intention, and joy. I believe art is not just something we make, but a way we remember who we are.
